New Candies Ombre

For today's mani I used the new Candies polishes I got to turn them into a subtle ombre! They actually aren't bad together! They aren't very vibrate though.

Swatches: Candies Nail Polish Gift Set

Hello everybody! Today I have Candies nail polish for you! I had never tried Candies' polishes and I am pretty impressed! This is a gift set  but they do have regular bottles too. You can only get them at Kohls. Candies polish is a little expense for me but I just a really great deal on it. They are 4 polishes in the gift set and it was first 30 dollars. A little pricey if you ask me. But it was on sale for 16 dollars! Then I had a 10 dollar gift card so I ended up paying 6 dollars for 4 bottles of nail polish. What an amazing deal!! So here are my reviews on them!

This is the set in the packaging. Sorry for all the glare.

Candies Sandy Star:

I am normally not a fan of neutral polishes but I like this color! It is a tan with a touch of pink in it. Very pretty! But it is 3 coats because it is pretty see through at first.

Candies Jump For Jade!:

This is a very pretty color. It is a great formula, it goes on very smooth in only 2 coats.

Candies Party Plum:

I like this purple color. I actually have nothing like it. It is very shiny and smooth. It goes on in 2 coats.

Candies Enchanted Night:

This is a pretty glitter but don't get me wrong, it has some problems. It is very bumpy and rough. I would recommend not putting it on by itself. Plus it seems really tough to get off, even for a glitter polish.

1st Attempt At Outline

I went to the dentist today and got 2 cavites filled. I hate going to the dentists with my whole being. I got like 4 shots of novacain ( not spelled right ). Not fun. At all. But than I got a shake so its all good! Now I just did my 1st attempt at outlining my nails. They aren't that bad.. Well maybe they are.

Swatches: 5.11.13 Shopping Trip

Oh man, this is bad. I went shopping on the 11th and I am just swatching these polishes. Lets just say that I have been busy. Anyway, My mom, my brother, and I went shopping on Saturday. For Mother's Day and stuff like that. We went to Barnes & Noble, Pier 1 Imports, Target, Cub, and Sally's Beauty Supply. Well more like I went to Sally's and they went to Cub. My mom and brother don't share my girly attitude. Anyway, I am in love with Sally's. I spent 30 minutes in there just looking at nail polish and my mom had to drag me out of there. I am thinking about joining their beauty club! But they don't really have a big selection of cheap nail polish there so I only got one bottle of nail polish there and 3 at Target. So enough rambling! I know you are all here for the nail polish! So here are the 4 bottles I got on Saturday!

Finger Paint Art of Theft:

This is the one nail polish I got at Sally's and I love it! It actually has a weird story. Looking at the bottle I thought that it was a dark purple. Well I go to paint my nails and it is actually a dark blue. But I love it never less. This is 2 coats.

NYC Purple Pizzazz Frost:

This cool is alright, but it takes like 3 coats for it to not be see through. Plus I already have a color almost exactly like this so it isn't my favorite.

NYC High Line Green:

I have needed a darker green for a while but I am not really impressed. It is to like boring for me. This is 2 coats.

Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet:

I am OBSESSED with this color. I am actually wearing it right now! I love this color so much, it probably makes my top 5 nail polishes I have. Plus this is only 2 coats.

Mint Dots!

Oh man. I am becoming really obsessed with this Mint Sorbet by Sally Hansen. I got it on Saturday and have worn it on my nails every since but with different patterns! I was feeling really boring today and decided to just do white dots. They do look pretty though!

Caviar Nails!

Happy Mother's Day! If you are a mother or a mother to be, I hope you have a great day! I got my mom a Keurig! She loved it because she is a big coffee drinker. Anyway, I went to Sally's Beauty Shop yesterday. I LOVE that place. Every time I go there I magically lose all my money. I finally got some caviar beads yesterday! Plus like 4 polishes and bobby pins. So of course right when I got home, I did a caviar manicure. I love them! They make my accent nail very pretty!

Ocean Nets

I'm hopefully selling a ring today for some cash! It is a little complicated though but hopefully it will happen! So this is actually my mani from yesterday. I was still blogging at midnight and decided to go to bed and leave this for today! I think these are pretty cute and I learned a neat trick! Instead of just painting on the glitter, I dabbed it with a cosmetic sponge! It turned out pretty nice.

Swatches: The Misfits

The misfits! Or the random colors that got grouped together. All of the whites, blacks, silver, etc... So I loved swatching all of nail polishes but i'm happy its done. I still have to do my daily mani and it's almost midnight! Oh well, its Friday!

Pure Ice Superstar!:

This is actually not my only white but I swatched the other one is NYC 5/8/13. I love this white. Mostly because it only takes 2 coats.

Sinful Colors Nirvana:

This is the only brown I have. I am not a big fan of neutral colors but I love this brown.

NYC Starry Silver Glitter:

This is the color I use for my galaxy nails. It is very nice! But there isn't a lot of glitter in it.

Sally Hansen Black Out:

This is the only black I have. It is hard to judge a black color but it is nice!

NYC Tribeca Silver:

This isn't the only silver I have but I like it! It is a very course nail polish though.

Swatches: Purple

2 down, 2 to go! Hmm, I don't have much to say for once. Oh yeah! I know the red isn't a purple. But it is close enough and my hand had space. Here is my purple collection!

Sally Hansen No Hard Feelings:

I love this lavendar color! My mom got it for me at walmart one day when I called her and asked for a lavendar color. She said this lady helped her because she 2 bottles and couldn't choose. So the lady says that I should get this color because this color was lavendar and the other color was a lilac color in a really girly voice. My mom said she almost laughed out loud :)

L.A. Colors Fun In The Sun:

This color is nice! It is exactly what color comes to mind when I think of purple. Plus it only takes 2 coats!

L.A. Colors Phenomena:

This is my not-so-purple color! :) But it is pretty! Plus it only takes 2 coats.

Pure Ice No Means No:

This was my first purple color! Very pretty and it only takes 2 coats.
