China Glaze Dash of Dazzle Swatches

Hey! My cousins just left from my house from staying for Thanksgiving! Its was loads of fun! We did go black Friday shopping, but the odd thing is that I didn't buy anything on sale. I just got a book and a nail polish set from Goodwill. Oh and these really cute owl earrings from Kohls! It was a really fun few days and I'm sad that they are gone!

But back to business, I have the China Glaze Dash of Dazzle set for your viewing pleasure today. The set has three polishes from the 2013 Happy Holiglaze collection! It is meant for a gift set, but 3 full size China Glazes for $8.99 is a really really good deal.

Mingle With Kringle:

Mingle With Kringle is gold foil with little orange glitters. I like this one for its originality. Normally with gold foil, what you see is what you get. But this one surprised me with those small glitters. Its a really pretty polish with a good formula. I couldn't find anything wrong this the formula at all. Here is 2 coats without top coat.

So Blue Without You:

So Blue Without You is a bright shimmery blue. I really like this one but I don't really understand how China Glaze thinks that this is a Christmas shade? It doesn't really remind me of Christmas at all. But I love it anyways. I couldn't find anything wrong with the formula. Here is two coats without top coat.

Bells Will Be Blinging:

Bells Will Be Blinging is a clear base with blue and silver glitter with holographic line glitter. I am in love with this polish. But I did make the stupid mistake of putting it over blue.. The formula is great and the glitter load is high. Here is two coats over So Blue Without You.

Here is a better look at it over black when I painted my cousin's nails this weekend.

So overall I love this set for originality and formula. My favorite is Bells Will Be Blinging by far! Which one is your favorite?

Price: Set for $8.99, individual for $7.00

Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay, Its not Thanksgiving yet, but there is no way that I am posting tommorow! I'm going to hang out with my family and eat lots of pie and turkey! What are you guys doing?

I did these today for Thanksgiving! On my thumb, middle finger, and pinky finger I have the waterfall design by The Nailasaurus. I really like this look! It is easy and super pretty. Here is the tutorial. For the waterfalls I used Elf Desert Haze as a base and China Glaze Mingle With Kringle, Elf Coral Dream, Elf Nude, Elf Cranberry, and Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow.

I used Sinful Colors Pumpkin Spice on my pointer finger. For the Turkey I used Elf Smoky Brown, Elf Desert Haze, Elf Coral Dream, LA Colors Black Velvet, Sinful Colors White on White, Elf Nude, and NYC Times Square.

Did you do a Thanksgiving themed manicure? Leave me links in the comments! Have a great Thanksgiving, or just a great day if you aren't in the United States!

Sally Hansen Rosey Shooter & Frazzle Dazzle Swatches

Hello my fellow nail polish lovers! I know, I know. I haven't posted in forever. Actually its only been 4 days, but still. I broke my nails playing foot ball about a week ago and I wasn't really rocking the nub look. I'm still not but its a lot better than it was.

So today I have two Sally Hansen xtreme wear polishes for you! Today I have Rosey Shooter and Frazzle Dazzle. I got these because I feel in love with Silver Streamers a few days ago. They are all part of a limited edition collection that Sally Hansen is doing. So I'm gonna make sure that I go and get the rest of them soon!

Rosey Shooter:

Rosey Shooter has a clear base with medium red and white hexagonal glitter, small red and white hexagonal glitter, a few large white and red hexagonal glitters, and some white line glitters. I really like this one, it reminds me of a candy cane with all the red and white. The formula was good but a little thick like Sally Hansen normally is. I used two coats over Sinful Colors Pink in these pictures.

And here is a better look at the glitter over black:

Frazzle Dazzle:

Frazzle Dazzle has a clear base with small and medium orange/bronze glitters and long black line glitters. I like this one but there isn't as much glitter in it as I would have liked. The formula is pretty good for Sally Hansen. I used 2 coats over Sally Hansen Sun Kissed in these pictures.

And here is a close look at the glitter over white.

So what did you think of these? I like Rosey Shooter but im not a big fan of Frazzle Dazzle. They are about $3.00 a piece depending on where you go. Have a great day!

Yet Another Target Haul

Hey! I'm seem to smile every time I look at my new nail polish rack, which you can see here! Its nice to have all my nail polish in one place! But I'm getting off topic, today I have my lastest haul for you! Which of course, comes from target. It seems like every time I go in there, I always walk out with nail polish.

Sally Hansen Ooh La La Ombre Set in shimmery silver:

Deep Purple:

Deep Purple is a shimmery purple with some specks of pink and blue glitter. The formula is pretty good except that it goes on a little thick. I used 2 coats without top coat.

Gunmetal:

Gunmetal is a shimmery grey with a hint of blue. The formula was pretty good but it didn't dry very well. Here I used 2 coats without top coat.

Silver Streamers:

Silver Streamers is has a clear top coat with different silver and black glitters. This is my favorite polish out of the collection! I love the line glitters. I used two coats over gunmetal!

Sinful Colors Pink:

Pink is a matte neon pink polish. It surprised me for a few different reasons. Firstly, it was matte, I was not expecting that at all. Secondly, it was my favorite that I bought that day. I normally am not a big pink fan but I really loved this one! Here is 2 coats without top coat.

Here is two coats with top coat:

Thanks for reading! Which of these were your favorite? Let me know in the comments! Have a great day :)

Nail Polish Organization: My New Nail Polish Rack

Hey! So I said in my other nail polish organization post that my dad was going to help me build a rack. But I found a book shelf at my aunt's house that she never uses, and I ended up getting it! I love finally having a big, nice place to organize all my nail polish! It makes me feel like a true addict. :)

So here is the rack. It was like love at first site. It fits perfect to!

So the bottom shelf is going to be for nail art stuff.

I went threw the closet and found this cute wooden pencil holder, and it is now holding my nail brushes, dotting tools, files, and my clean up brush!

I took a lot of sandwich bags and put some stickers on them with categories like "beads and glitter", "makeup sponges", "stickers and decals", etc.. and put my nail art stuff in the bags!

This green container has all of my bags, my water marble cup, and all of my base and top coats!

So my bottom shelf has the green container, cotton balls in a container, toothpicks and q-tips in a container, brushes, nail polish removers, and my swatch book!

So next I had to think about how I wanted to organize my polishes and trust me, it was a hard choice. No joke, I sat at my computer for like a half an hour looking at different shelves. Then I decided I was going to organize them by brand. Then I realized it would be stupid because I have so many brands with only one polish. So I organized them by finish, then color.

The 3rd shelf from the top has my crackles, holographics, magnetics, and glitters.

The 2nd shelf from the top has all of my foil and shimmer polishes!

The top rack has all my cremes and jellies. This is the one shelf that I might have to worry about filling soon!

What do you guys think? How do you organize your nail polish? Feel free to send my some links in the comments! Have a great day :)
