#CramAThon Challenge Wrap Up

Hey guys! Soooooo.... cramathon. Yeah ummm that went well. I'm kind of kidding, I mean I didn't do awful or anything but I didn't complete all of the challenges. You can find my TBR/Challenge post here. So how did I do? I'll show you.

Challenges

1. Read a children's book? Completed
2. Read a hardback? Completed
3. Read two books in 24 hours? No
4. Read a graphic novel? Completed
5. Read a novel written in verse? No
6. Read a novella? Completed
7. Read 5 books total? No

Day 1:
On Friday I finished Yertle the Turtle in the morning.

Day 2:
On Saturday I finished the novella Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy. I started both Beautiful Creatures: The Manga and Crank.

Day 3:
On Sunday I finished Beautiful Creatures: The Manga. I almost made the 2 books in 24 hours goal but I went about a half an hour over. So close!!

Day 4:
I read a few hundred pages of Crank but I didn't finish it. So I ended up about 3/4 of the way through Crank and I didn't start Bone Palace Ballet at all.

Basically I blame this all of the tv show Arrow. I've been obsessed. Its an issue. But I still managed to read some good books and now I am one book ahead of my reading challenge on Goodreads! Overall this challenge was really fun and I hope to participate again!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge Days 8 & 9

Hey guys! I have been putting two days into one, for this challenge for a while and I will probably keep doing so. But I am doing the manis on time, you can see the photos on the Facebook group page if you are a member. So are all of you in the Christmas spirit yet? It has been creeping up on my lately more and lately as I make and buy gifts for my family. We still don't have our Christmas tree yet, but we will have it this weekend!

The prompt for day 8 is Christmas decorations. I decided to go for something mildly original: the star on top of the tree. I also have a water marble that actually turned out nice and some glitter. I used NYC French Tip White as my base for the Christmas tree. Then I used Sally Hansen Tan Lime and Zoya Bar. The water marble is Sally Hansen Tan Lime, Sally Hansen Green with Envy, and Sally Hansen Red Carpet. The glitter is Zoya Bar.

The prompt for day 9 is glitter. I went pretty simple with this prompt. Shown is Sally Hansen Rosey Shooter over OPI Green on the Runway. I love this combo together.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge Days 6 & 7

Hey guys! Today I have two days of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge for you. I am having a lot of fun with this challenge. So the prompt for day 6 was to pick any line from the 12 days of Christmas songs. I picked "4 calling birds". I used LA Colors White for the base. Then I free handed the birds with a nail brush using NYC Black Velvet, Sally Hansen Red Carpet, Sally Hansen Green With Envy, NYC Palm on the Beach, and NYC Tropicoral. I topped it all of with NYC Matte Me Crazy.

The prompt for day 7 is green & red. For this prompt I did a dotticure. My base for this design is LA Colors White. I used a set of dotting tools for the design with Sally Hansen Red Carpet, NYC Palm on the Beach, Sally Hansen Green with Envy, OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby., and OPI I Sing In Colour.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Day 5 Ice Blue & White

Hey guys! Sorry I have been kind of missing for a while. My birthday was on Monday, we decorated cookie houses over the weekend, and I have been sick since Monday night! I have also been busy swatching all of my 20+ polishes I got for my birthday. I should have a haul up by the end of the week!

So today (technically yesterday) is the 5th day of the 12 Day of Christmas Challenge I am taking a part of! I wanted to do a water marble but it wasn't working out, so I ended up doing a dry marble. I'm not really a fan of it but its okay and I really don't have the time to redo it. I used NYC French White Tip, NYC Skyline Blue, and Orly Skinny Dip for the dry marble!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Days 3 & 4

Hey guys! So I was one day behind on the challenge, so I am doing two in one today! Day 3's prompt is snowmen and day 4's is santa and/or elves. For day 3 I painted my snowmen using a nail art brush. I used NYC French Tip White as a base. I used NYC Black Velvet and Nina Pro Orange Flame for the snowmen. My two accents nails are China Glaze There's Snow One Like You.

For day 4 I used a dotting tool and a nail art brush to make santa hats. My base color is China Glaze Mingle with Kringle. I painted the hats with L.A. Colors nail polish.
