Deadly Sins Challenge: Wrath Day 10

Hey guys! I'm pulling an all night tonight! Hence the late post. Today said "Find something that blows your top and express it with art!". So Im straight but im a big gay marriage supporter. I have 2 cousins that are gay and I think they should be able to get married. So it annoys me when people say gay or faggot offensively. So today I did a gay pride nails. If you dont like them thats okay but please no hate.

Deadly Sins Challenge- Sloth Day 8!

Hey! I'm really tired so this post will be short! These are my nails for todays challenge which said "Create a manicure by your laziness... or whatever.... im really tired." So this describes me perfectly. I am so incredibly lazy. My most lazy trait is that i LOVE sleep. I sleep like at least 12 hours a day because its the summer. So this mani is based of my sleeping problem! Like counting the clouds till I fall asleep. :)

Deadly Sins Challenge: Sloth Day 7/ Watercolor tutorial

Hey pretties! Today's challenge says "Don't try too hard but explain everyone how to do something really easy... (tutorial)" Well, i'm sorry but I AM going to explain it well. Or at least try to! I haven't done a tutorial in a while so i'm pretty excited about doing one! It is on how to watercolor your nails. But don't be fooled, they aren't really watercolors. You just use normal polish with acetone! Also, random but I made a twitter for the blog! Just search Kacey's Nails. I'm new to twitter so stay with me! So on to the tutorial..!

First, paint your nail white with top coat on top. Don't forget the top coat, its important!

Next pick at least 2 colors!

Put 2 SMALL dots on your nail, get a nail brush and dip it in your acetone. Then dab the polish around the nail.

Do it again with your next color and so on. You nail won't look as gritty, my brush was just really suckish.

Put on top coat and your done. Don't forget the topcoat! Even though you nails won't be AS gritty as mine, they still won't be smooth.

This takes some patience to master so don't give up.

Deadly Sins Challenge: Greed Day 6

Today said: Remember, more is more, don't hold yourself back. So I instantly thought of mix up nails. I love mix up nails personally. They show a lot of creative and they are really random. I took more pictures today to capture the nails! Let me know what you think!

 For the pointer finger I used China Glaze White on White and Finger Paints Art of Theft.
For my middle finger I used China Glaze White on White and my nail art pen.
For my ring finger I used Sally Girl Banana and Pure Ice Endless Fortune.
For my pinky I used Sally Hansen Sun Kissed and Sally Hansen Crushed.


For my thumb I used Finger Paints Brilliant Brushstroke and China Glaze White on White.

Deadly Sins Challenge- Greed Day 5!

So I had a problem. I love music along with nail art. Music is actually like my life. I love to play the guitar and you really can't do that with longer nails. So I cut them. I also decided that I base this blog on SHORT nail designs. I miss my long nail but this way I can do everything that I love. So, these are yesterday's nails. I forgot to post again. I'm soo lazy. c: Yesterday started greed and with it said " Go wild and use your most expensive and precious polish." So I used Essie Turquoise & Caicos. It is the most expensive polish that I have.

Deadly Sins Challenge- Gluttony Day 4!

Hey there! Today is day 4 of the deadly sins challenge! Today said, "Skip your diet, and paint something that makes your stomach growl!". I painted cupcakes! I have seen cupcakes nail everywhere but I had never tried them. I actually think that I did pretty good for the first time around!






I used Sally Hansen Sun Kissed, L.A. Colors Lightning, China Glaze White on White, Maybelline Iced Queen, Pure Ice Wild Thing, and Finger Paints Brilliant Brushstroke! :)

Deadly Sins Challenge- Gluttony Day 3

Hola! For day 3 of the challenge it said, "Delight yourself with a sugar spun inspired manicure." I knew what they were but I had never done one. So this is my first sugar spun manicure! I didn't get it at first but I did okay at the end. So don't judge!


I used China Glaze White on White, Sally Hansen Blue Me Away, Sally Hansen Breezy Blue, and Candies Jump for Jade!

Deadly Sins Challenge- Lust Day 2

Hello! Sorry about my laziness. I started the challenge like 3 days ago and I am just now posting day two. I did them but forgot to actually do a blog post about them. Silly me! So day 2 says, "Let your body talk and feel free to do whatever you want." I have seen these really cool multi-stripe designs on some other blogger's nails so I thought that I would try it out! They aren't bad, but they are a little messy.






I used Sally Hansen Sun Kissed, Sally Hansen Golden-1, Candies Jump for Jade, and my nail art pen!

Deadly Sins Challenge- Lust Day 1

Hey ladies and gentleman! I actually started the deadly sins nail challenge yesterday but I was way to lazy to do a blog post at midnight. I was really tired so there will be two posts today, yesterday's and today's nails. Here is the guide for the deadly sins challenge!

 

So today is the first day of the lust category and it says "Be a bad girl and make something you have wanted to do soo badly". So what I wanted to do was to draw on my nails with sharpie. I have heard some good and bad reviews on using sharpie for your nails. It was fine for me personally. It did smear a little bit when I put my top coat on. I used China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard for these nails and a fine point sharpie.
