#31DC2015 Day 1 Red

This is kind of a really impromptu dumb decision on my part. I mean I'm starting college classes, high school classes, and volunteering at my library this month. Yet I'm still deciding to do The 31 Day Challenge. I will probably end up combining days into one post and being super lazy. But I decided to do it because I love doing this challenge every year and it always makes me a stronger artist.

I used reinforcement labels to make this half moon manicure. I used China Glaze The Heat is On and O.P.I. Today I Accomplished Zero. I finished with Out The Door top coat.

China Glaze Art You Looking Tribal Kit Swatches

Hey guys! Sorry I know its been a while. I don't really have an excuse, I have just been super lazy. Basically all I have been doing is sleeping, eating, doing some nail art, and watching Smallville. But today I have some swatches for you of the Art You Looking Tribal kit from China Glaze. This kit contains 3 polishes from their 2015 summer collection called Desert Escape. The kit also came with a black striping polish but I didn't take any pictures with that.

China Glaze Rain Dance The Night Away:
Rain Dance The Night Away is a beautiful bright turquoise creme. This is my favorite of the kit. I really really love this polish. I can't express my love for this in words. In addition to the beautiful color that this polish is, the formula is also amazing. Shown below is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze The Heat is On:
The Heat is On is a bright orangish red creme. I wouldn't really say that this is your typical red because I
think that there is a hint of orange in it. My pictures below are a little bit more orange that they are in real life. Shown is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze What's She Dune:
What's She Dune is a sand colored nude creme. I really like this polish because I use nude in so many of my nail art designs. It also just looks good if you are trying for a more work appropriate manicure. The formula was great as usual for China Glaze. Shown below is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze Travel Sized Mini Set Swatches

Hey guys! Today I have a really exciting post for you all. I got this mini set of China Glaze polishes from Sally Beauty Supply. I think I got it for around 13 dollars. We get 6 polishes in this set, and there are 12 total in the collection. I thought all of these were very cute and they make me ready for spring!

China Glaze I Brake For Colour:

I Brake For Colour is a orangish color creme. I thought that this one was really cute! My camera would not cooperate for these photos, but it is more pink in person. Shown is 2 coats without top coat.

China Glaze Pinking Out The Window:

Pinking Out The Window is a pink creme. I'm normally not a huge pink fan, but this one is gorgeous! Shown is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze Trip of a Limetime:

Trip of a Limetime is a lime colored neon creme. I think this name is super appropriate! Shown is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze My Way or The Highway:

My Way or The Highway is bright teal creme. I don't feel like this is very unique but it is still pretty! Shown is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze Dashboard Dreamer:

Dashboard Dreamer is a periwinkle blue creme with reddish yellow shimmer. The shimmer is subtle so my camera didn't really pick it up very well. This one is super unique and is my favorite of this set! Shown is three coats without top coat.

China Glaze Boho Blues:

Boho Blues is a light purple creme. This color is perfect for spring time. Shown is two coats without top coat.

Which polish is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! Have a good day!

China Glaze 'Tis The Season Mini Set Swatches & Review

Hey guys! It's that time of the year again! I went to Sally Beauty Supply last Friday and picked up a new set from China Glaze's Christmas Collection! This set includes four 9.6 ml bottles. I bought mine for $10 I think, so its a pretty good deal. It has 3 glitters and one shimmer polish.

China Glaze Define Good...

Define Good.. is a shimmery wine color. This polish is super super super thick. I don't know if I got a bad bottle or all of them are this bad but its awful. It makes it a one coater but took 2 coats of top coat and it didn't even fully smooth out. I do like the color even if it isn't that original. Here is one coat with two coats of top coat.

China Glaze De-Light

De-Light is a clear base with gold holographic bar glitter and gold small and mini hexagonal glitter. This my favorite in the collection. Its such a pretty glitter and the formula is great. I was a little worried that the bars would curl up but they didn't. Here is one coat over China Glaze Define Good...

China Glaze Pine-ing for Glitter

Pine-ing for Glitter is a clear base with small turquoise hexagonal glitters. I think that is the perfect glitter for Christmas! It totally gives off the holiday vibe. The formula was good and there was a lot of glitter. Here is one coat over NYC Black Velvet.

China Glaze Feeling Twinkly

Feeling Twinkly is a clear base with blue micro circular glitter. Take about a crappy name. Maybe I'm the only one, but I think that name is super cheesy. But the polish its self was okay. I felt like it was kind of boring but it was fine. The formula was good and it has a ton of glitter. Here is one coat over NYC Black Velvet.

My beautiful cousin gave me all of these (she is the best!). So there are 19 polishes here and I wasn't about to swatch all of them on my nails, and take pictures, and edit them. Thank god for nail wheels. Here are the names starting with the first magnetic polish on the top left. I will be going clockwise.
