March Nail Polish Haul + Swatches

Hello everyone! Today I finally have a nail polish haul for you all. I feel like I haven't done a haul in a really long time. But today I have 9 nail polishes to show you!

China Glaze Out Like A Light
A dark bluish grey creme. For some reason this cool reminds me of thunderstorms. This is so nice and unique! Shown is two coats without top coat.

China Glaze Dancing and Prancing
Dancing and Prancing is a glitter topper with glitter of all different colors and sizes. Even though I don't like this one very much, the formula was really good. Shown is two coats over Out Like a Light.

 Sally Hansen Mad Women
Mad Women is a purple gel with dark pink shimmer. This is actually the first gel polish that I have gotten and I was really impressed. Shown is two coats without top coat.

Sally Girl ?
So I don't know the name of this polish and it is destroying me! If you know, let me know in the comments. But this is a cute maroon polish with brown and yellow shimmers. It reminds me a lot of fire. Shown is three coats without top coat.

Sally Girl Crazy
Crazy is a orange neon creme. This polish isn't very unique but I love my orange neon polishes. This formula was on the sheer side but it was buildable. Shown is three coats without top coat.

Rimmel London Mind The Gap, Victoria
Mind The Gap, Victoria is a bright periwinkle creme. I love this one! It is so unique and pretty. It is perfect for spring. Shown is two coats without top coat.

Rimmel London Sweet Lavender
Sweet Lavender is a light purple creme with a pink tint. The formula was really good. Shown is two coats without top coat.

NYC Fashion Safari
Fashion Safari is a tan creme with a tint of orange. If a tan could be unique, this one would be. I can't wait to use it for a base for some nail art! Shown is three coats without top coat.

NYC Park Ave
Park Ave is a dark brown creme. I don't really have much to say, because its, well brown. But the formula was good, as usual for NYC. Shown is two coats without top coat.

#31DC2 Day 23 Indie Polish

Hey guys! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a good week. Mine was pretty stressful with school and a new puppy that is just way too stubborn. I forgot how hard it is to raise a puppy! I also started looking into colleges.

So I have a simple post for you today. I am showing you the 23rd day of 31 Day Challenge 2.0. The theme for day is indie polish. Honestly, I love indie polish but I never buy any. I hope to start to soon though! Out of my very very limited collection of indies, I have the perfect Mortal Instruments collection from Fandom Cosmetics. If you don't know, I am a huge shadowhunters fan!

My base is 2 coats of China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin. On top of that I have Fandom Cosmetics My Magnificent Self and To Love is To Destroy. I topped it off with Nicole by OPI Drying Drops.

Ulta Nail Pail Review & Swatches

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. It's been 6 days and I'm sorry for that! I have been pretty busy lately. But I'm back now and I have a review for you! I went to Ulta last Monday and got their Nail Pail. I hadn't tried their nail polishes before and wanted to try them out! I am not surprised that I love them!

The Nail Pail was 15 dollars and includes 8 mini (but not too mini) nail polishes and a small nail file! The polishes include 6 of their best sellers and 2 limited edition polishes! This set has everything from creme, to jelly, to glitter, to holographic!

Ulta Showgirl:

Showgirl is a pinkish coral jelly. I love this shade! You can put it over white or it gets opaque in 3 coats. I honestly have nothing like it. I used 2 coats without top coat for the pictures below.

Ulta Starry Night:

Starry Night is a glitter topper with holographic gold and pink big and small glitters. Even though this isn't the most unique glitter, I just love the gold and rose combo. I'm also a big holographic lover, so this glitter is a win for me. I used one coat over Showgirl in the pictures below.

Ulta (Limited Edition- no name):

The first limited edition polish is a beautiful lilac creme. I personally really liked this color and thought it lilac/lavender colors. The formula was great as well. I used two coats without topcoat for the pictures below.

Ulta Celebutante:

Celebutante is a dark plum creme. I enjoyed this color as well but I didn't think it was that original. I can probably find a few like it in my collection. The formula was great as usual. I used two coats without top coat in the pictures below.

Ulta Mint Condition:

Mint Condition is a dark mint jelly. I have nothing like this, and I love it. It is a jelly polish, so if you want to get full coverage, you will need three coats. I used 3 coats without topcoat in the pictures below.

Ulta (limited edition, no name):

The second and final limited edition polish is a yellowish nude creme. I would this would to be average. I don't love it, I don't hate it. The formula was great though! I used two coats without top coat for the pictures below.

Ulta Boogie Nights:

Boogie Nights has a clear base with brown and rainbow small glitters. I think that this glitter is so unique and fun! I used two coats over the limited edition polish.

Ulta XOXO:

XOXO is a pink holographic jelly. This polish is weird and amazing. It shouldn't work but it does. The formula was great for a jelly as well. I used three coats without top coat in the pictures below.

Bigger, Better, More Beautiful Nail Polish Haul

Hey guys! Things have been pretty crazy lately. My mom had to go to the ER last night and didn't get out until this afternoon. She was having an awful migraine and was really confused. Like the where am I, who am I, kind of confused. So we found out that she has a muscle in knots in her neck and was effecting her brain. So she is home now and everything is okay, but it was pretty scary for a while. Now I am watching The Voice and doing a NAIL POLISH HAUL!

I don't really go on "nail polish hauls", more like buying polish all of the time in small amounts. So I have combined two nail polish hauls together. First I went out and bought the two new NYC glitters. My nearest Target like redid their beauty area and it seems like they updated the NYC section too. So I don't know if they are new or not but oh well! Then I got the other two at target on another time.

NYC Disco Inferno:

Disco Inferno is an awesome mix of holo silver glitters and blue glitters. It honestly isn't a unique combo but I love it anyway. The holo is really insane in the glitters and it is like a disco ball. It was glitter packed and just an awesome glitter. Here is one coat over NYC Black Velvet.

And here is a more blurry picture, so you can see the holo-fantasticness! (Don't lie its a word)

NYC Top of the Gold:

Top of the Gold is a gold flacky polish with a clear base. Like Disco Inferno, its not unique but its a nice glitter. I put it over brown, which probably wasn't the best choice but I couldn't really think of a color to put it over. It is has a ton of glitter too. Here is one coat over Sinful Colors Nirvana.

Sinful Colors Easy Going:

Easy Going is a very light pink creme. Like most Sinful Colors formulas, it wasn't the best. But I don't think it was awful. The color is just really pretty and girly. Here is two coats without top coat.

Nicole by OPI Be Awesome:

Be Awesome has a clear base with different colored large diamond glitters. Some of the glitters are holographic! I found that this polish was really goopy and didn't have the best formula. I had to fish for the glitters a lot. It is about 100 times better if you do glitter placement on it. Here is two coats over Sinful Colors Easy Going.

You can see the extreme goopiness of the polish of my ring finger. Pshh..

Here is a glitter placement manicure I did with it. I love this to pieces!

Which one of these was your favorite? My personal favorite is Be Awesome, it has major formula issues, but the glitter placement options make up for it. Have a great day!
