Starting College off With Some Gradients

Hey guys. I feel super bad that I haven't blogged in a while! But I actually have a good excuse this time. I started college last week. So I have either been in class, doing homework, or being really nervous the whole week. I hope to start up a normal blogging schedule soon. For now here is a glittery tribal gradient I did a few weeks ago.

For this design I used O.P.I. My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours! and OY-Another Polish Joke! I used a black stripper from So Easy to free hand the tribal design. I finished with Seche Vite.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge Days 6 & 7

Hey guys! Today I have two days of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge for you. I am having a lot of fun with this challenge. So the prompt for day 6 was to pick any line from the 12 days of Christmas songs. I picked "4 calling birds". I used LA Colors White for the base. Then I free handed the birds with a nail brush using NYC Black Velvet, Sally Hansen Red Carpet, Sally Hansen Green With Envy, NYC Palm on the Beach, and NYC Tropicoral. I topped it all of with NYC Matte Me Crazy.

The prompt for day 7 is green & red. For this prompt I did a dotticure. My base for this design is LA Colors White. I used a set of dotting tools for the design with Sally Hansen Red Carpet, NYC Palm on the Beach, Sally Hansen Green with Envy, OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby., and OPI I Sing In Colour.

#31DC2 Days 7+8: Metallic & Dotticure

Hello friends! I am so behind on the 31 Day Challenge 2.0, its not even funny. Actually I'm a week behind exactly. Today I am trying to catch up a little bit with two days in one! Today I have days 7 and 8, but since today is day 9, I'm still not caught up.

For days 7 and 8, the themes are metallic and dotticure. I had a really hard time coming up with a design for the metallic prompt, since metallic colors aren't my favorite. But I ended up doing a easier design with China Glaze Elfin' Around, NYC Top of the Gold, and golden studs from The New Black. I used Essie Good to Go for my top coat.

For day 8, I did a blue gradient dotticure. I used my set of dotting tools to make the dots. The colors I used are: Sinful Colors Bright Lucite, Wet n Wild I Need A Refresh-mint, Essie Butler Please, and NYC Blue Basin. I topped it off with NYC Matte About You.
