X Formula Crafty Swatches

Hey guys! I have some tragic news. I broke my nail so I had to cut them all down. On my swatching hand. If you aren't into nails you are probably thinking that I'm crazy, but this is a huge deal. But good thing that I had a ton of posts ready already! I went to Sephora about a month ago and got some make up and a nail polish. That nail polish was X Formula Crafty and I have swatches below.

X Formula Crafty

X Formula Crafty is a shimmery textured polish. It also is kind of multi chromey. I just don't know how to explain this but its magical. You probably shouldn't drive a car with this on because it is just way to distracting. The formula was surprisingly great. I say that because textured polish are typically impossible to apply but I had no troubles with this. Shown below is two coats without top coat.

Cover Girl Catching Fire Nail Polish Duo Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I am so tired because of losing an extra hour! I only got 5 hours of sleep than went to babysit! So needless to say, I'm falling asleep on my computer. But I have so many different designs and polishes to show you guys, I need to get a post done today! So today I have the Cover Girl Catching Fire nail polish duo! I found this at Walmart a few weeks ago, and it was three dollars so I needed it. It comes with a polish and some nail stickers. You get a few to pick from but I picked the one with Seared Bronze and some flame stickers.

Cover Girl Seared Bronze:

Seared Bronze is a shimmery bronze with hints of green and red. I like this polish a lot, I think that it is very original. But the formula wasn't great, not bad, but not great. I thought it was very watery. I had to use 4 coats (but three would work too) in these pictures shown.

Cover Girl Flamed Out Stickers:

I tried putting the stickers on Seared Bronze, but it just didn't look good to me. So I put them over NYC Times Square Tangerine Creme. The stickers are really easy to apply and look awesome!

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Stain Glass Windows Nail Art

Hey guys! It seems like forever, but its only been a few days. But I have no good excuse, I have just been reading a lot. I'm currently reading three books: The House of Hades by Rick Riordan, The Archived by Victoria Schwab, and The Pleasures of The Damned by Charles Bukowski! It is weird reading so many books at once, it seems like I'm not reading much but am really reading a ton! I also just joined a read-a-long for The Archived! It is a lot of fun to discuss the book as you go! You can find the group on Goodreads here.

For today's post, I have a nail design for you! Stain Glass windows! I have always loved this design but have never done it. Well I did it once, but it was basically a fail. Here are some pictures!

For this design I used a nail art brush and L.A. Colors Black Velvet, Nabi Metallic Lime, China Glaze Elfin' Around, China Glaze So Blue Without You, China Glaze Mingle With Kringle, and Sally Hansen Grape Going! I just drew the black outlines and filled them in the different polishes. Then I topped it with Seche Vite Top Coat.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Sonia Kashuk State of the Art Nail Set Swatches

Hey! This weekend has been awesome! It was #sharethelove weekend and I gained over 500 likes on Facebook! Which brings me to 650! I also found some really awesome blogs that I will be following! Did you find any good blogs this weekend? Let me know in the comments!

Today I have the Sonia Kashuk State of the Art nail polish set for your viewing pleasure! The set comes with 3 mini polishes and two nail art brushes! The polishes are really really mini (.15 ounces). So they are more of a trail set, to see if you like the color. It comes with Fairy Princess, Contessa, and By The Sea! I love all of the colors! They are great! You can buy this set here.

Instead of going threw and talking about the formula for every polish, I'm just going to say right now that all of the formulas are amazing. They remind me a lot of elf's polish. They smooth out very well, are the perfect consistancy, and dry fairly quick. They were great to work with!

Fairy Princess:

Fairy Princess is a mint green color with some light blue shimmer. I really like this one wet, but as it drys it gets more creamy and less shimmery. It's not bad or anything when it drys, but I just wish that it was a little more shimmery. Here is 3 coats without top coat.

Contessa:

Contessa is a vibrant dark blue creme. Well its not "dark" but it is a little darker than a normal blue. I love this one! It is my favorite by far. The color is just so vibrant and beautiful! Here is two coats without top coat!

By The Sea:

By The Sea is a dark bluish purple. Sonia Kashuk describes it to be "a cobalt blue" but its not. It is more purple than a cobalt blue. This color is gorgeous and completely unique to my collection. Plus it is a true ONE COATER! That's right, I only had to use one coat for this beautiful polish. So here is one coat with top coat!

I hope you all loved these as much as I do! You can find this kit at Target for $12.99. It might sound a little bit pricey, but you also get two nail art brushes for the kit! You can buy it here. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

ELF Disney Villians Set

Hi there. I got up at 2 in the afternoon today. I have been sleeping about 14 hours every day for the past two weeks. I have also been super weak and dizzy. So I'm going in to get my blood tested on Friday. The people who I have talked to seem to think that I don't have enough vitamins in my body. So for now I'm just taking some vitamins to see if that gives me energy.

I got the ELF Disney Villians set at Walgreens yesterday. It has 12 polishes in it for 10 dollars. So its a great deal! I already have 4 of the polishes though. But 8 new polishes for 10 is alright too. Here is my review and swatches of the 12 polishes.

There is supposed to be 3 polishes in the Cruella De Vil side, but one of them turned on me, and I couldn't get it visible. But no worries, I still have the swatches and everything. Cruella De Vil is from 101 Dalmations. The Cruella De Vil collection includes Nude, Smokin' Hot, and Smoky Brown.

Nude:

Nude is a tan color with a hint of beige. This is one of the polishes that I already have but I love it all the same. Nude has actually been one of my favorite nude polishes for a while now. The formula is amazing. It goes on in 2 coats and has no issues. Here is two coats and no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Nude
Finish: Creme
Collection: Disney Villians: Cruella De Vil

Smokin' Hot:

Smokin' Hot is your typical red creme. I like it a lot but it's not really too special. The formula is good. It has no issues and goes on in two coats. Here is two coats and no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Smokin' Hot
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Cruella De Vil

Smoky Brown:

Smoky Brown is dark brown. I like this color a lot, because it has a lot of depth for a brown. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Smoky Brown
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Cruella De Vil

Ursula is from Little Mermaid! This collection includes Coral Dream, Mint Cream, and Sea Escape.

Coral Dream:

Coral Dream is a pinkish orange. I wouldn't call it coral because it is way more on the orange side. The formula is good and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Coral Dream
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Ursula

Mint Cream:

Mint Cream is a greenish blue. Honestly I wouldn't call this a mint. More like a light blue with a hint of green. But it is pretty and original anyways. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Mint Cream
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Ursula

Sea Escape:

Sea Escape is a very dark blue with some lighter blue shimmer. This one of those polishes that it is beautiful in the bottle, but no really on your fingers. I'm not a huge fan but its alright. The formula is good and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Sea Escape
Finish: Shimmer
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Ursula

Evil Queen is from Snow White. The collection includes Pot Of Gold, Cranberry, and Thunder Storm.

Pot Of Gold:

Pot Of Gold is a gold foil. This polish is a complete dupe of Julie G ornamental. Like they look completely alike. So that is why I love this one! It is super pretty. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Pot Of Gold
Finish: Foil
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Evil Queen

Cranberry:

Cranberry is a dark red with some red and gold shimmer. This color is amazingly pretty. I have nothing like it. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Cranberry
Finish: Shimmer
Collection: Elf Disney Collections: Evil Queen

Thunder Storm:

Thunder Storm is a dark teal. It's pretty but not my favorite. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no top coat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Thunder Storm
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Evil Queen

Maleficent is from Sleeping Beauty. Its a good thing that I don't have to speak, because I have no clue how to say her name. This collection includes Bubble Gum Pink, Mod Mauve, and Gina Girl.

Bubble Gum Pink:

Bubble Gum Pink is your typical hot pink. I like it because it has some depth to it that I didn't expect. The formula is great and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no topcoat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Bubble Gum Pink
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Maleficent

Mod Mauve:

Mod Mauve is a brick red. I like this one just because I don't have anything like it. The formula is good and it goes on in two coats. Here is two coats with no topcoat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Mod Mauve
Finish: Creme
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Maleficent

Gina Girl:

Gina Girl is a clear base with purple, orange big hexagons and yellow, red, and green small ones. This polish is my favorite. It suprised me. If you look at the bottle it looks like a black creme with the glitter. But nope, its pretty clear. Even though there is hint of grey color to the base. It also suprised me by drying matte. The formula is great and there is lots of glitter. Here is two coats over Sinful Colors Black on Black with no topcoat.

Polish Info:
Brand: Elf
Name: Gina Girl
Finish: Glitter, Matte
Collection: Elf Disney Villians: Maleficent

So which one is your favorite? Tell me in the comments! Thanks for reading.
